At School, Week of 3-8-10

From HL’s teachers:

Hello All,

This week has been a lot of fun learning about nighttime! We’ve read books, made owl pictures and are gearing up for pajama day on Friday. Please remember to have your child wear pajamas on Friday if they’d like to. It should be a lot of fun!

Next week we are going to focus on sports and games. We’ll talk about how games have rules, and how some use balls and some don’t. We will visit the bubble for a special day of soccer and try to learn some of the rules to the game! We are going to read a lot of books about sports and see what games the kids like to do for activity. If your kids have a favorite sports team this would be a good week to sport your gear!

As usual, keep your cubby filled with clothes and diapers/pull-ups as needed. Also, please try to remember to close the fridge when you are coming and going with your child’s lunch. We are having a lot of problems with ice melting and making the lunch boxes very wet. We need to keep it closed in order to avoid this problem! Thanks so much.
